NCT Welcomes 886 New Students

Nizwa College of Technology welcomes 886 new students as it commences its second semester last 7th January. The college currently has a total of 3920 active students, 1940 are in Foundation studies while the remaining ones are already in their specializations. All students in the Foundation level started their classes on 7th January, while students in specialization levels started theirs a week after.

In a related development, all new intakes were given orientation by the Office of Student Affairs on 7th and 9th January. The new students were met by the Asst. Dean of Academic Affairs and the Asst. Dean of Student Affairs. They were provided with the Student Handbook, as well as other materials and information that will help them in ensuring comfortable and successful stay in the college. Other Student Affairs personnel provided talks and presentation on issues related to students such as services the college provides the students, the facilities that they can use, how to easily cope with tertiary level studies, and other important topics.
